Selection of Sarah’s stoneware
I trained as a classical musician, turning to pottery in my early thirties. The inspiration
for the shape of my forms is primarily derived from the contours of flower heads,
and the colours from the ever changing effects of light on land, water and sky.
Finely
thrown stoneware, my pots are light but strong and durable. A family of useful forms
- plates, bowls, mugs, jugs and vases, happy in the oven and dishwasher, although
many remain on display to be enjoyed as individual pieces of art.
