Chamber Music Library

The chamber music library is a substantial archive of music drawn from the libraries of the Philomusica of London, Boyd Neel Orchestra and Robert Turrell’s personal chamber music collection. The library consists of some original manuscripts in the hand of composers such as Benjamin Britten.

The library obviously contains parts and scores for all the Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart and Shostakovich string quartets - the main stay of any chamber music string course.  We also hold a good selection of scores for mixed chamber music groups with, or without piano.
