Chamber Music and Intrumental Masterclasses held in and around one of the most beautiful medieval areas of Tuscany. The large music studio is equipped with a grand piano, comprehensive library, and recording facilities.

 

Accommodation is in an independent historic stone farmhouse overlooking the beautiful lake Montedoglio.  Set in it’s own large grounds in a protected area of outstanding natural beauty. A large private swimming pool is also available for fun and relaxation.

Robert Turrell lives at Calcinaia, in Tuscany, Italy and is a professor of Viola and Chamber Music at the Royal Academy of Music, London. He travels to London to teach/coach for  two days each week during term time as well as conduct orchestral concerts.  Robert is also the principal conductor of The Philomusica of London, one of the longest established chamber orchestras in the world, and the Soloists  Ensemble, a dynamic and young professional string ensemble.
